These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Layakati Fitness mobile application and related websites and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Layakati Fitness ("Layakati", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Layakati provides fitness, nutrition, and wellness information for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program, diet, or wellness routine, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or have injuries. You use workout, meal, and wellness recommendations at your own risk. Stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort and seek medical attention. Layakati is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of the Service.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time (see Section 10).

4. Subscriptions

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers (e.g., Free, Premium, Gold). Paid features require an active subscription.
All subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those platforms' terms. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge.
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the applicable app store.
Prices may change; we will notify you of changes as required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Post or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of others.
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or interfere with the Service's operation.
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
Upload viruses or malicious code.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, comments, stories, photos, messages, and similar). By submitting content, you grant Layakati a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and use that content solely to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights to share it.

7. Community and Expert Coaching

The Service may include community features and access to trainers or experts. Expert guidance is provided for general fitness and wellness purposes and does not constitute medical, psychological, or professional advice. Interactions with other users and experts are your responsibility; be respectful and follow any community guidelines we publish.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and content (excluding your user content), is owned by Layakati or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party services (e.g., authentication, push notifications, and nutrition data). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time:

In-app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
Via the web: using our Data Deletion request page.

Deletion is described in our Data Deletion policy and Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability, intellectual property) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layakati and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Layakati harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of UAE, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the courts of UAE, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
